Many people have children and grandchildren, who they love dearly. Ideally, they read to them on a regular basis. Perhaps they enjoy helping them learn how to read, as well. There are others, who may not have children of their own, but still love them and want to help them become educated.
Then there are those who are brave enough to try to write for children. Some of them discover very quickly, that it is not as easy as it seems. For others, writing for children comes naturally. It is almost like re-living one's own childhood. Writing for children becomes a form of self-expression and creativity for them. More than that, it is fun!
Writing for children is an art form still to be discovered. There may always be those who do not see it as such.
